Ohio is home to six dynamic STEM Learning Ecosystems that work together to drive cross-sector collaboration, empower educators, and expand access to high-quality STEM education across the state. 

What is a STEM Ecosystem?

The STEM Ecosystems are a global initiative powered by TIES that brings together more than 100 regional ecosystems across the world. Together, they:

• Support local solutions for STEM education and workforce development

• Connect community assets across education, business, government, and philanthropy

• Foster collaboration between learners, educators, and leaders

• Promote equity, access, and real-world learning for all students

With national guidance from TIES, DO STEM and Ohio’s ecosystems are scaling impact through shared leadership and innovation.
