Amanda Bickerstaff

Amanda is the Co-Founder and CEO of AI for Education. A former high school biology teacher and EdTech executive with over 20 years of experience in the education sector. She has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that AI can offer. She is a frequent consultant, speaker, and writer on the topic of AI in education, leading workshops and professional learning across both K12 and Higher Ed. Amanda is committed to helping schools and teachers maximize their potential through the ethical and equitable adoption of AI.

Kara Ball

Kara is an Academic Officer specializing in STEAM education, offering professional development, and training across various subjects. As the author of "50 Strategies for Teaching STEAM Skills," Kara brings innovative approaches to education. With a background as a District STEM Education Specialist and District STEM Coordinator, Kara has also excelled as both a K-5 special education and general education teacher. Accolades include being a finalist for the Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator, receiving 2018 State Teacher of the Year, District Teacher of the Year, and finalist for National Teacher of the Year for her work in STEM.  Additionally, she was featured on the cover of STEM Women Magazine, presented at EdWeb & SXSW, and has written articles for various publications. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. studying gender inequity in STEM at Walden University, Kara remains committed to advancing educational practices and inspiring the next generation of inventors and innovators.
